Amanda & Tommy Engagement Session – Sneek Peak

This is my first photo session since my surgery and I had so much fun doing it.  I have so missed using my camera.  Although I am not yet “my running around climbing on top of things girl”, I think I did pretty good (LOL).  You can really tell the love that they have for one another.  This couple has an amazing story!!!  Knowing each other in middle school and then 20 some years later, their paths crossed again, making them true soul mates.  The “husband to be” is every girl’s dream…he carried the couch out for me and carved their initials in the tree.  Now, how sweet is that??

Still Recovering

I am still recovering from an unplanned surgery that happened on August 4th.  It was one of the most exciting and scary times in my life as I had never had been cut on before.  The fact that my “old pain” is gone is a huge blessing.  I am a walking testimony that God really does heal.  He gave me a miracle and my life is truly blessed from him.

So, I am 6 weeks Post-op today and although I am still healing, I feel pretty good.  Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to shoot my camera in about 8 weeks.  I’ve taken a few shots here and there but it’s not the same.  I can’t wait to get back into work.  I have taken this time of recovery and re-focused my business with a new direction.  I have a lot of exciting things going on right now that are gearing me up for my comeback…stay tuned for more 🙂
