Who wants pottery???

My kids 4-H club is hosting their own “Empty Bowls” dinner on February 16, 2013. I am honored to be a part of this and so excited!!! All of our moms will be making a variety of homemade soups and the kids will be serving,  so please mark your calendars and plan on attending. All the money raised will go to the Lake Cares Food Pantry…..

Do you remember back in December when I was asking (more like begging.ha!) for votes for a picture of mine?

I am excited to show you what I got with the certificate.  It’s an old Amish Pie Carrier that I just love.  I set it on my coffee table in my living room and put some fresh cotton I got from Georgia, some bittersweet from WPF and this really cool twig wrap that I got in Gatlinburg last year.  I went to Pottery Barn and got a glass hurricane and set a candle in it.  I just love the look and love my new pie carrier!!!!!

A visit to Chantilly Ridge

I recently went on a field trip with our my kids and our 4H group to Chantilly Ridge Alpaca Farm in Port Orange. These are the cutest things ever!!
